Alon Eisen, MD, FESC, is a senior cardiologist in Rabin Medical Center, affiliated to Sackler faculty of medicine in Tel Aviv University. Prof. Eisen has completed his fellowship in the TIMI study group in Brigham and womens’ hospital and Harvard Medical school in Boston, USA. He is currently the deputy director of the Cardiovascular division in Rabin Medical Center, head of the clinical cardiology research unit, and head of the post-MI clinic. He is also the secretary of the Israel Heart Society. Prof. Eisen is a professor in Cardiology at Tel Aviv University. His main research interests include secondary prevention after an ACS, novel pharmacotherapies, and atherosclerotic risk-factors.
