Thyroid disorders account for several pathological conditions with high prevalence worldwide, e.g., Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Graves’ disease, benign and malignant thyroid nodules, and subclinical hypo- and hyperthyroidism. These conditions, particularly the subclinical, often go undiagnosed. Nevertheless, thyroid disorders are a major cause of morbidity and decreased quality of life and there is a global need to train healthcare professionals (HCP) to implement the best treatment strategies supported by evidence-based medicine.
Scientific Seminars is proposing a high-level, multi-format, outcomes-based educational approach to accompany healthcare professionals along a progressive pathway towards changes in their clinical practice. The digital learning journey starts with a slide kit from an international expert on subclinical hypothyroidism, continues with a video interview on thyroid disorders in pregnancy and a live webinar on diagnosing thyroid nodules, and concludes with discussion of real clinical cases on hypothyroidism in pregnancy with interactive elements.
