Dr Korevaar works at the Endocrinology Department of the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and specializes in gestational endocrinology. He is the principal investigator of the Thyroid and Pregnancy research group, founder of the Consortium on Thyroid and Pregnancy and current co-chair of the American Thyroid Association and European Thyroid Association guidelines committees.
Dr Korevaar has co-authored more than 120 peer-reviewed papers and various book chapters, and has been awarded with the British Thyroid Association Award 2014, the ESE Young Investigator Award 2016, the SfE Early Career Prize Lecture 2016, the Dutch Society for Endocrinology 2017 Thesis Award, the Dutch Royal Academy of Sciences Early Career Award 2020, the ESE Young Investigator Award 2022 and the Endocrine Society Early Investigator Award 2022.
