Alexandra Benoit is a fertility midwife and researcher in France. Graduated from the Faculty of Maieutics Lyon Sud-Charles Mérieux, she started in the field in reproductive health care in 2012. In 2013, she obtained a university degree in ultrasound in obstetrics and gynaecology and a master’s degree in prenatal diagnosis.
In 2019, she had a PhD in clinical research and public health in France. Her PhD thesis focused on the development and assessment of a web-based decision aid of female fertility preservation for women with breast cancer. In 2020, she had the pleasure to receive the “Nurses Award” ESHRE for her work in patient-driven fertility care interventions which are able to improve a patient’s clinical experience and comprehension.
She has a strong experience in ultrasound scan in reproductive medicine, the development of patient pathways and in the care and support for women and couples in reproductive medicine and fertility preservation.
