Rubio Carmen

Dr Carmen Rubio is currently head of research for embryonic chromosomal abnormalities at Igenomix, Valencia, Spain, where her work is focused on non-invasive approaches to embryo aneuploidy. Dr Rubio initially trained at the University of Valencia, before she specialized in cytogenetic studies in human reproduction, partly at the University of Barcelona, Spain before completing her Ph.D in reproductive genetics and conducting post-doctoral research into male and female meiosis at Washington State University, USA.

She has published more than 100 papers in the main peer-reviewed specialist journals in the field of reproductive medicine, as well as book chapters and books. Dr Rubio has also lectured extensively at conferences worldwide.
